Just to say a big THANK YOU to you all for making mum & dad’s 71st wedding anniversary special for them.
On behalf of my sister’s and I thank you and your staff for all of the care and support that you gave mum during her time with you. I know she could be difficult at times, but you always showed patience and understanding towards her, and yes you can say it’s part of your job, but the way in which it was done was always with kindness.
I am truly touched at the love and care shown towards my grandma every time I visit. The Moorings is a wonderful care home and an absolute Godsend for our family. The staff are warm, patient and understanding and always have time to spend time chatting with us when we visit, making our family feel very welcome.
We just wanted to say a big thank you to you and all of your team for making mums stay with you as happy and comfortable as you have. In almost three years that mum has spent with you we have always felt she was treated well, the rooms were always clean when we visited and the staff were courteous and friendly. We feel we did the best for mum by getting her into The Moorings.
The manager and her team provide an excellent service in a clean and friendly home. I visit unannounced on various days and times and dad is always clean and cared for when I arrive.
If only all care homes were like this older members of our community could live their latter years with dignity. No bad points to make over three years of visits.
My husband had daycare at The Moorings for four months – one day a week. He was always welcomed when we arrived, a cup of tea at once. He enjoyed his time there – it was a happy place. The menu for lunches was varied and interesting. He was well looked after and looked forward to the next visit.
