At The Moorings, we work hard to ensure that all our residents have real choices and are able to continue living their lives as they want to within a supportive and caring environment.
We believe that care work, whether done professionally or as part of a family, needs to be done by people who have the skills, training, and, perhaps more importantly, who care.
As a result, we select our staff very carefully, looking beyond paper qualifications to find people who are interested in and genuinely care for the people they work with. We encourage and support our staff as they train for further relevant qualifications and promote visits to and from other care homes, encouraging oversight and promoting communication.
